    Hi all

over the weekend my window regulator went and had to get it replaced. I got it replaced at local garage for 193 inclduing £60 labour.

    Is this good price?

Was told the part is genuine audi? is this true by price around 130£

Also i had this issue before and still do, intermittently when i press window to go up every now and then it goes up and then goes bit down and stops. have to press up few times for window to close. 9/10 it will work perfectly fine. just the odd occasion.

    any ideas?

    thanks in advance

Also, my power steering i feel has gone bit tight. How do i make it touch looser? isit oil change? is this usually part of service or do i need to pay extra for this? If extra is there any youtube videos or documentation on how i can replace power steering oil myself ?

According to this thread - Question Passenger side window regulator - the price is £108 inc and can be fitted in just under 90minutes by a rookie.

Make of that what you will

Try lubricating the window runners with some silicone spray.
Check your power steering fluid level.
