Any help would be greatly appreciated; I have a golf MKV tdi 1.9 BKC with starting issues.

Unfortunately it is struggling to start from cold (ambient temperature 13 degrees Celsius), and I presume it is no coincidence but once started it has a significant judder on tick over. However, this is intermittent and it can have no judder. raising the revs to 1000 sees the judder disappear

Once warm seems to start up a lot easier than when cold

This has been becoming worse over past few weeks.

The VAG COM throws out 2 codes

    16688 cylinder 4 p0304 misfire detected intermittent

17057 cylinder 3 Glow Plug circuit p0673 Electrical Fault intermittent.

However, when I clear codes and then try to start car it struggles to start and the codes are not there when I check again so I do not know if this is spurious?

When starting the car… I need to put my foot on accelerator whilst cranking for about 10 –15 seconds (maybe twice or three times) before she starts

The car has had in the past 6 months/ 6k miles

    New Battery
    New injector loom
    New oil and filter
    New fuel filter
    New Air filter
    New Glow plugs
    New DMF and clutch
    New Alternator clutch pulley

Any help would be greatly appreciated

One of those will be the glow plug loom which is a bit of a sketch to change. The cylinder 4 code, in view of the loom having been changed, is a bit worrying.

Yes, possibly, or a worn cam/lifter. 8 valve PD injector failure is quite rare - cam lobe failure isn't........
