any trolley jack will lift your car. you are not lifting the whole thing, just a corner. how much do you want to spend. 50 quid, 500 quid ?

Sealey make a range of affordable jacks. If you plan on getting under it buy good quality axle stands and a 3 ton jack (cos it lifts a bit higher)

Jesus Zollaf everything was tight, seized or wrong threaded. The carrier bearing was seized on the shaft, when I got it undone it fell on my head as did the vice grips and the gearbox deliberately cut me in several places. I will never even look at a french car again unless it's burning. I am getting a 1.2 polo in, it's "down on power and making a strange noise"

Something like this Sealey 3 Tonne Car/Van Trolley Jack+Axle Stands 3010CX | eBay , Sealey usually have a winter sale you should get this for maybe 80.00 don't consider folding axle stands because that's not what you want an axle stand to do.
