A6 Le Mans 2008 heated seats not working ?

Hi all

im new to the forum and to audi. Proud owner of a 2006 2.7 a6 Le Mans. Very happy with it but can't seem to work the heated seats. With the aircon on I click the seat button which goes red and seat is displayed on mmi screen. When I turn the dial thingy to turn up heat it as shown in the display it doesn't do anything.

Any help appreciated.

Try a MMI reboot hold in setup + central MMi knob + inner upper right soft key. Failing that then get it scanned with someone with vcds.

Does the number change on the HVAC unit? Do the seats heat up at all?

Just a thought - Are you turning the main MMI knob or the individual heating knobs?
It's the individual ones that control the aircon setting that you need to use once you've pressed the heated seat button.
