I have a 2001 130 tdi sport witch drives fine just turned 200k.
Couple of problems when on full right and lock the brake warning light come on then go,s off soon as you straighten up.
All cables and pads are fine.

2nd fault is under normal driving at set speeds i have a slight miss?
If you accelerate up through the gears as normal its fine.
Theres no lights showing on the dash and nothing showing on VAG com.

    Any ideas on this please.

Your brake warning light could be the connectors from the pads, I've had issues with the light coming on occasionally, unplug and clean the connector and make sure it's tight.

Has the injector wiring loom ever been changed? If not then the slight misfire could be down to that. It's quite a straightforward fix.

Ive heard about something to do with the loom a few years ago, Its it under the rocker cover?

Yes it's under the rocker cover. Fairly straightforward job if a bit fiddly as it has to come out the rear of the head and back in the same way. There's not much room at the rear so removing the plastic boost pipe and warming the engine will help. Also warm up the new loom before fitting so it will bend easier.
