DAB Track Text & Art

Hi Guys,

On DAB radios in general, it is possible for the radio station to transmit the Track Title information. And on some stations, they also transmit their logo or the cover art of the album they're currently playing.

Does anyone know if the C7 supports this? And if so, how to enable this for the OEM Audi DAB on the C7 A6? I've never seen the Track Information appear... and I couldn't see anything obvious in the settings!

Yes it's possible to get track information but it depends on the station as to how much information they transmit. When on the radio press the (if I remember correctly!) the bottom left mmi button to bring up the radio tuning section, and the next clockwise option from next station button gives you the track text.

Bottom left MMI Button (function) -> Scroll all the way right (information) -> Select Track Text.

I had a go at selecting the 'Slide Show Art', but it didn't load anything for the station I was on. Does anyone know what stations do use the 'Slide Show Art'?

I have a feeling that UK stations do not broadcast images to avoid distractions...Whenever I drive in Germany I keep seeing album art, advertisments and weather forecasts.
