    Default switched 12v supply – 23-09-2007,01:45 PM
    i am trying to find a suitable swiched 12v supply on my Audi A4 2002. It is for a handsfree kit and at the moment i can find only permanent lives in the area around the radio. Removed the climate control but no luck, Tried all the radio connections but only permenent lives? Any ideas without taking all the dashboard out ??

    Any help will be appreciated.

    With the Passat you can remove the lower dash bolster by undoing a few torx screws.

    This gives you access to lots of switched live/perm live/earth etc posts.
