Head rests

Both front heat rests have snapped the plastic inside the foam and are rattling about. Question is can I use the internals from other VAG cars headrests. Its easy enough to pull them apart but I just need to know what else fits if any one knows.

Did the same to the driver's headrest on my Allroad. With a dremel, I drilled small holes in either side of the broken plastic frames. Then used a length of stiff wire and plierd to pull the broken pieces together. Finished off with double sided sticky tape to seal the outer leather cover at the bottom. So far so good - repair still holding, provided I do not lean on it again!

Thanks for the reply - I was more concerned about the headrest's function in an accident that what it looks like. I was hoping that someone might have some insight on which other models in the VAG family used a similar design. Failing that I could always swap the front and rears over.
