Ok as some may know from my other post about Maf,s

I have now fitted a VW OEM Bosch Maf £53 + vat direct from a VW dealer

Took it our for a run today , and ,,,,,,,

big grin , torque low down is great ,,,, put your foot down and she goes off, before i seemed to have all the revs but not much go ,,,

It made the power more usable i would say ,, and drives very smoothly , fuel seems better , and i have yet to spot any smoke out the back even when foot to floor !!!

    So im pleased with results,

The old MAf was not the correct one , as it didnt even fit correctly due a lip on the edge ,
    the internals look different too

I nearly did a " HOW TOO" on fitting but then remembered amz ahs already done a great 1 ;-)

The first two pictures are the old maf , note the lip which stop the duct fitting ,, the last 2 are the VW OEM maf,

Where did you get your MAF from as some places only sell the sensor thing on the inside and not the plastic cylinder housing?
