The 2015 facelifted A6 Sline will have all LED lights and the facelifted A6 SE will get Xenons. From experience the Xenons are better than standard halogen.
But how do the LEDs compare with the Xenons . Can you see better and/or further with them. Views welcome.

The SE has a so called "comfort" seat. If you want to upgrade to Sport Seats you have so specify electric sports seats option PV3. The Sline comes with an "Sline Sports seat". If you want to add the "Electrically adjustable front seats with memory function for driver’s side. ... seat forwards and backwards position, seat height, angle and backrest angle adjustment, 4-way lumbar support, driver’s seat with memory function" to the Sline you also have to specify option PV3 which retails at £920. Any opinions on relative merits of these seats?

    thanks
    BB

I can only comment on the lights and only from an A7 point of view but I'm sure they are all a similar standard.

Xenons are good but leds are a whole new ball game. They are incredibly bright and white and I've not once been flashed while driving with leds but was fairly regular with xenons.

I recently drove my wife's A5 at night and got out to check a xenon bulb hadn't blown as they were so dim compared to what I was used to.

LEDs all the way for me from now on.

IMO the step up from xenon to LED is greater than Hals were to xenon.

They are amazingly white and the distance is impressive and then when speed exceeds 65-70 they stretch even further into the distance. Then there is the side lunination when you turn tight.

I really think they lift the front end of the current car and the indicators look great with the full strip flashing.

For ref I have come from a FL A5 BE coupe to my present A6

Hmm dunno not tried LEDs BUT what I can say is

New BI-Xenons are a lot better than the 'old' Xenons cos they are Xenon for both dipped and high beam - and everything in between, at least with adaptive bi-xenon

Again with adaptive you get side illumination - but they use a H4 halogen, not particularly inefficient as it only turns on when needed but it does make a difference.

But I'm pretty sure the LEDs are a step up and I'd have gone for them when I ordered mine if the price hiut was not quite so great.

They should outlast the life of the car

...and in other news today, prospective purchasers of Audi's A6 limousine were dismayed to find that the car was expected not to last as long as the headlamps... ;-)

Regarding comfort seats, they are much better than sport seats. Not as hard, but really comfortable and still you can adjust them to fit tightly, with air cushions in seat and backrest. Another advantage is the thigh support, which is smoother and electrically adjustable and is not as hard towards your knee bends. Also if you or your mate are shorter, sports seats (at least used to be) are too long in base so your back cannot reach backrest without pressure behind your knee. That has been why I have to stick to the standard seats before comfort seats came with C7. They also have memory tied to keys. For S6 or RS6 sports seats, for A6 comfort seats I would say. Sit and try!

@ukgroucho I'm with you on the cost and if buying new I would have not spec'd them, but having lived with them it would be very difficult to not tick the box.

Having said this, out of big list on my ex demo there is still a couple of boxes I would tick in ahead of LED's
