Went for a drive in an S-Line 3.0TDI Quattro yesterday.
Seemed pretty good, so I guess that I've not been spoilt by the best suspensions out there!
Impressed with the Quattro aspect of it - felt very solid and rooted. Also the boot was larger than I was expecting (I can get 2 cases of wine in, even with the lid down).
Slightly confused by the AMI thing - do I need AMI even if all I want to do is play audio via Bluetooth?
Also one aspect for me to consider is that the engines are only EUR5, so will be subject to the forthcoming low emissions congestion charge zone surcharge that comes into force in about 5 years time.
Beginning to think that I may have to wait until the all-new model surfaces in 2016... And get something cheap and cheerful in the meantime.

The A5 3.0L Cab Quattro is an amazing car! The s-tronic box is smooth and fast which works well with the Quattro system. I look forward to driving it every day and it's another experience with the hood down. Two adults can sit in the back but not too much room and a bit windy with the roof down. Okay in the front though especially with the wind deflector fitted. B&O system is great and I found the AMI to be very useful as it plays the music from my iPhone while charging. If you fit a USB to it you can play different phones.

It's a real eye catcher and great to drive.

I wonder how long we'll have to wait for an EUR6 diesel? My next car will probably be with me for the next 10 years, so would want to be able to drive into Central London ULEZ without additional taxes if possible!
