Diesel particulate filter

I'm new to this forum.......
I recently had a problem with the DPF on my Audi A6 2009 s-line 2.0 tdi lemans (weld cracked at turbo end bracket).
I got a DPF from a breakers where the guy promised me it was from a similar model and year. I later found that this part was similar but not the exact match to my cost, as i was told once a part has been sold it cannot be taken back.....
I have been told this is for a A4 2008 2.0 tdi model.
Can anyone please tell me the model & year this part is for? The part nos on the dpf are as follows :-
Front section - Germany BYO, 8K0131703F, 8K0178BA
Back section - 8K0131765F, 8K0181BA, BOYSEN 58888.41

Are you not going about this a bit bottom about face?

Should you not be getting the correct DPF for your car instead of trying to work out which car the (wrong) DPF you have fits?

I bought the dpf (panic buy) as I was told the orginal one would cost nearly a £1000.00.
I've now fixed the problem on the orginal one on my car (got it welded from a specalist exhaust place)

Ok - so what are you trying to do now? A quick google suggests it's for a 2010 model, perhaps your local dealer could help?

Thanks for that......I want to know the model & year as when I put it for sale, I do not want to mis-lead any buyer.
