EPB Problem - Help!

Good morning all. Need the experts on this one.

So far I have had 5000 miles of trouble free driving, apart from the initial coolant pipe which was a £15.00 fix.

I now have a Electronic park brake fault, please see below VCDS printout:

What have I done:

1. Checked fuses in the boot for both EPB - fine.
2. Checked fuse for park brake switch - fine.
3. Took rear wheels off and checked EPB connectors for oxidizing - fine clean connectors.

I have tried to reset the codes but it comes back, both brakes are locking and releasing correctly, I did notice that the near side EPB was new. the right side seems to be original.

All the warnings are flashing on the dash and the beeping tone drives me crazy!

UPDATE

After my drive to work (suffering the constant beeping!) I have noticed the rear off side disc has black residue on it which is the brake pad. So I can only assume its the EPB not releasing properly, so I stand corrected to my previous post saying it was.

I have ordered a new one today along with pads. I have fitted new calipers in the past but not ones with the EPB.

Would I be right to:

1. Run the VCDS cycle as if I was to replace pads (not forgetting battery charger)
2. If the faulty caliper hasn't retracted then manually do so.
3. Fit new Pads and new Caliper.
4. Bleed new caliper.
5. Clear fault.
6. Run VCDS to engage calipers.
7. set new values for pad thickness.
