Hey guys so iv replaced injector loom thinking that was my problem but now it seems like it more than that
Anyway can someone recommend where to buy the parts and possibly part numbers of everything i need please. Is it ok just to buy from fleabay? I was thinking of buying
    Camshaft
    Lifters
    Bearings
    Timing belt
    Water pump

Is there anything else i should replace? Any help will be appreciated thank you.
Ps. A friend is going to do the work on car
Here is a link of the noise its making after loom replacement

Get a proper diagnostic scan before you start pouring money into it. Look on the map for someone near you with VCDS VWAF User Location Map - VCDS - Google Maps

if it is the camshaft, which it sounds like it could be, but course could be something else, which is why a proper diagnostic is a good idea, but if it is the camshaft, then this is what not using the right oil does to your engine. i try to tell people to use the right oil. some listen, some don't.

When a PD 8v cam goes it makes a noise through the air cleaner intake which is hard to describe, a sort of ba ba ba ba beat that once you hear it, you know the next time. We are just doing the cam on a 2006 Golf 5 1.9 that had two failed lobes and we are using a tool steel cam from FAI, these are the only people I seem to be able to get a tool steel cam from and they are really nice people to deal with as well. Unless the supplier can guarantee the cam is tool steel, walk away! Cast iron cams are available and they snap! Fitting a new cam can be stressful on these. I am using the job to train a younger member of staff to do this sort of job, taking him forward from more mundane tasks of pads/discs/suspension/servicing he has spent the last year on and more into the internals of engines as to be honest we get far far less chance to do this these days as cars are so bloody reliable, either that or when they do go bang the costs are so high they are scrap. During this job I have showed him how these engines very badly wear their cam bearings (I will take a pic tomorrow) and another quite unnerving problem, how unbelievably tight a brand new cam goes in new bearings once you have bolted down the injector rockers arms. I showed him how that the torque required to break a new cam free in new bearings can exceeded the 100Nm torque applied to the centre pulley bolt and this can make setting up the cam timing quite a trial.
