    Hi there,

Couple day's ago I found that the left front tyre has some groove as you can see in a picture below. Can I still drive as it is ? Tyre pressure is okay.

thats not exactly small groove, thats cut in the sidewall. it looks deep to me, like its gone through cords. this tyre is dangerous by the looks of this picture and driving on it is not a good idea until its been properly inspected by someone that knows what they are talking about.

maybe someone has slashed it, maybe you just caught it on something. you don't check if its ok or not, you get someone who knows tyres to check for you. are you a member of the aa or rac. pleasedon't drive on this tyre, you might end up dead or even worse, someone else might end up dead because of it.

Put on the spare and Drive at walking speed to any garage, indie or tyre fitters. Be careful in the snow!

Probably not advisable to go on the motorway until you have had it checked out, can you see how deep the cut is? If it's no more than a 1mm you are probably OK but it is a weak point in the tyre, if the cut is deeper then you should replace the tyre, don't forget it may seem superficial but in time with the weight of the car and constant physical stresses the cut is going to get worse.
Now the tricky and expensive bit, if you have a four wheel drive then you shouldn't have more than 3mm difference between any of the tyres, the circumference of the tyre will cause wheels to spin at different speeds, I don't know if the Audi Quattro system can handle that or not, certainly on my Touareg dealer said it could cause transfer box issues.

If you care isn't a 4wd then change the tyres in pairs, you should be OK pottering around town at slow speed (less than 30) but do not under any circumstances go on a motorway without having it Proffesionally assessed. I would also advise not to car family or passengers until checked or rectified, its possible at this stage the tyre is repairable.

Apologies In advance if I have any of my facts wrong, I bow to the more technical in the forum.
Hope you get it sorted and it doesn't hurt your pocket to much

Pretty sure it's not repairable...side wall damage is terminal due to the stresses taken under load...it needs to be binned.
