    Hello all,

it is with regret that I must sell, with a loss , My A6 Black Edition due to looming redundancy within my organisation. It absolutely sucks and Ive no idea where it all came from.

Due to these circumstances and the potential financial implications, I must sell my car back to the dealer. Does anyone know of a dealer or someone that is likely to give me the best price possible for my A6 which is in excellent condition. details below.

im looking at continuing with Audi as a brand as. I've driven them for well over 10 years starting with my first ever x reg A3. I'm currently looking at Autotrader and within that looking at A5s. I will have to buy it outright but the mileage within my price range starts from 70,000 and rising. Are there any things I should consider other than resale value with high mileage Audis? There are plenty 1.8 fsi s for sale and the odd 3.0 Tdi quattro ....what are anyone's thoughts and opinions on these two in particular.

    all the best.

Personally I wouldn't touch a petrol engine that's out of warranty, heard so many horror stories recently.

I don't think you would have any issues with a diesel providing it's been well maintained

I bought A5 3.0TDI with FASH, car is from 2010, car had 90k now I have 104 and no issues, previous owner was changing EGR for better unit under warranty and thats about all from major issues, now I have wheel bearing to replace but u can expect that on car with 100k. Cars drive superb, recently diagnosed DPF and plenty life left in it. Aha...had coolant leak as well, inlet egr pipe..£180 at audi and sorted.

    Hi C172s
Sorry to hear about your circumstances!
    I have s 2008 3.0tdi a5
No major issues to date other than new EGR valve and new headlight igniter... Both replaced under warranty thankfully, I have read that the dual mass flywheel can cause "judder" on the manual cars.
Ditto above avoiding petrols and must on service history.
    Good luck

I don't think there's anything between petrol or diesel so long as they've been regularly serviced, you can always find plenty of horror stories with both fuel types if you look for them, people only tend to publicise the bad bits.
A lot comes down to your own personal preference.

I gotta say that the driving experience of a 3.0L TDI quattro is fantastic. I know quite a few friends with high mileage and apart from the usual wear and tear they're still going strong!
+1 with the other comments, Audi service history is good with all of the well looked after records!

End of the day, personal preference is best! Take a few out for drive and get your own opinion!
