    hi,

If i order an A3, it will not come with the Navigation unit. However, when cruising through eBay, i found these two diferent types of navigation units, the Audi Navigation and the Audi Navigation Plus.

    Audi Navigation

    Audi Navigation Plus

    1. What are the main differences between them?
    2. Will they both fit the new Audi A3?
    3. Is is really plug-and-play like the sellers say it is?
    4. Where does the antena go? Do i have to substitute the roof antena for a new one or do i install it somewhere else?
    5. Can i listen to my iPod with them?
    6. Is the Plus worth the moeny difference? (£100 - £390)

    Thanks!

    1. 2nd one is DVD based with all of Europe - later better system.
    2. No only the 2nd one will fit easily
    3. Not quiet that straight forward unfortunately, you'll probably need some VAG-Com coding work done to make it work correctly.
    4. You can get away with putting the GPS antenna on the dash or behind the rear-view mirror.
    5. Only with an aftermarket adapter.
    6. It's your dosh - but IMHO yes definitely.

You can but you'll need a special adapter. http://www.navplus.us/ is the best site for SAT Nav help - they'll show you what's required.
