    Hi Guys,

Just had the car back from its MOT which it thankfully passed, however while it was in I asked the garage to check if anymore fault codes had come up after my issues when I bought the car.

Now my wife had told me that twice she has had the engine fault garage warning but I put this down to the well documented steering column and immobiliser issue as previously a good number of logs were made for this so thought nothing more of it as I planned to do the DIY fix if it became an issue

To my surprise the Garage told me today that there has been two intermittent inject faults logged on injector 3.

I spoke to VW when I bought the car and was informed that all of the injectors had been replaced under warranty.

So I was interested to hear your thoughts and what would be my best course of action.

    Thanks

    David

You need to know when these injector 3 faults occured. And whether they co-incide with the times your wife told you the "engine fault garage warning" CEL had occured. The VAS fault analysis the dealer did would've given the dates and times. If they've not been cleared then they may still be in the engine module's memory and can be retrieved with an Autoscan from a program called VCDS which emulates dealer's VAS
See if you can get one done? Here's a locator of enthusiasts with VCDS who often will do an Autoscan for beer tokens:

If you get a scan, post here?
