    Morning.

I have had a problem with oil warning light on dash for number of months now... I regularly check for oil as I know they are heavy on the oil so not worried about that, the light/warning is just more of an irritation. Can someone confirm correct part number for oil level sensor please?

Also have read on this forum that Audi dip sticks for this model (2007 registered B7) are too long? This true?

If you told us the engine code and engine size we might be able to help.

    Hi Chris,

    It's a 2.0tdi (170) version. Engine number on the V5 is BRD005051.
Don't know if this will help but under the bonnet I came across this BRD1318 - 072006.

If there is any other info you need please let me know. Also apologies for delay in replying but been laid up with an injury so car has just been left alone for the time being
