Took the family touran (pd 105bhp AVQ) ^on a 700 mile round trip to euro disney and she ran perfectly, having only been serviced a month ago. The day after we got back I drove down the road to see smoke coming out the back. From past experience I assumed the turbo and went about removing the intake pipe to look for obvious signs it had gone. No excess oil or play in the shaft so removed the exhaust and was evidence of oil so I removed the turbo and ordered a new core off ebay. (Cheap option I know but its an aftermarket turbo anyway) I fit the new core to find on start up that the impeller is hitting the housing. Despite that I take it for a drive to burn off the oil in the exhaust. After a 30 min drive it was still smoking. Its a white with blue tinged diesely acrid smell and is worse from low revs. I thought it could be a dodgy injector so have changed them for another set I had laying around but no luck. I am now loosing enthusiasm and am getting stick from the mrs to get out there and fix it. Please help!!
