    Hi fellow members

I am in the process of upgrading my 08 B8's standard halogen headlamps to bi xenon drls. I have installed the headlights along with kufatec adapters (which was very simple and straight forward) but I need desperate help with connecting the two additional wires for high beams and coding to go with it. I got the codes and pictures of where to connect the wires from Kufatec (in the harness under the steering column) but I have no idea how to get to them. I am a complete amateur at this and have already cut my finger while pushing the wires through the firewall from where I thought they might go through but I failed.

For now I have just rolled up the wires and tucked them under the rain tray. I went to a garage here in Ilford and they forwarded me to one in Barking who asked me to call someone they know in Audi and get his help and that gentleman wouldn't even respond to my texts or calls. It's been two weeks.

So now I have turned to you kind people here to help me with this please - connecting wires and coding.

If someone is from around Ilford or near and would like me to come over or they come over to mine I will happily pay any charges for their time and assistance.

Looking forward to all your help and support.

    Regards,
    Uzair

Silly question maybe but do you have VCDS and checked your CCM is compatible with Xenon?

Start with VCDS as you'll need it. This could turn out to be expensive if you need a new control module.

I'm so sorry, I am completely lost... Could you please elaborate what you mean when you say 'Start with VCDS'...? VCDS is VagCom... right? I should try and get them coded first...?

Hi. Could someone please guide me further on what A6_Chris said? I am completely lost. Will I need to upgrade the comms port or anything else too? I've been reading else where some people have had problems changing values and saving them but no resolutions or answers to this problem were posted. What other Part Numbers, if any, will I require? Any help will be highly appreciated.
