Bluetooth microphone.

Hi all.
i have a 2008 audi A4 and have fitted an OEM bluetooth module. I have coded it and all seems to work. I can receive and make calls and all is displayed in on the screen. The only problem is the microphone does not seem to work.

i have the fault code 011 microphone open circuit.

I have trawled through the internet and cannot find anything to help me.

The mic seems to be wired in to the extended harness in the head unit and not to the BT module. Is this correct?

Is this a simple coding issue or is the module faulty.

Any links to show us what you fitted? 2008 was a change over year for the A4 so let us know if it's a B7 or B8 and the model of headunit fitted.

Hi it's a B8. The unit I fitted is a Karman model BE 9352.

There should be a part number beginning 8T0.

Which harness did you use? I'm assuming you don't have MMI and only have a Chorus/Convcert/Symphony?

Not sure on the harness. Yeah no MMI it's a audi concert
