is my A4 B6 1.9tdi 100/115/130hp ???

ok ive bought my 2nd A4 B6 1.9tdi pd but am not sure what hp it carrys. as the previous owner replaced the engine. i did ask the prvious owner an he told me it was trhe 130hp. but as im getting a remapp i need to find out exactly what the car is. so anything i can do to find out where im at all help welcome

Check the data sticker in the spare wheel well or under the rear bench seat, you'll see a figure in KW. Use this figure and convert it online.

checked the motor and it says 96kw. so the cars a 130hp. but just say with a new engine could that mean the hp might be a 100/115 hp. or would the driveshafts etc / gear box have to all been changed or would a 100/115 hp just fit in with out changing anything just curious

Look at the engine code on the timing belt cover if you're not convinced.

this is the number from the timing belt cover is AWX 397489* if that helps

AWX is a 130.

good man cheers for that. even at that would the guys im going to for the remap have been able to tell or would they go on my word. listen since youve been a great help would you no a nice but safe of hp to take her up too. as ive herd alot about clutches going very early once some cars have been put up too stupid numbers of hp many thanx
