    Hi Guys

Has anyone done the rear axle bush replacement on the A6?
My car has just passed 156,000 and the back end is becoming sloppy when loaded.

    Any pointers greatly received

    Quite an easy job.

Carefully mark where the existing brackets are.
Support the beam with a jack.
    Undo the big through bolt.
Remove the three bracket bolts and remove bracket.

You will need to apply quite a lot of force to the fixings so make sure the car is very well supported. Do one side at a time.

You will also need to persuade things to go back where they came from with some force as well.
