Service Plan Offer

Hi Guys,

Has anyone else had the Audi service plan offer through recently? Apparently its £399 for 2 years servicing (on 3.0 litre) - You get one "major" service consisting of Oil, Oil Filter, Air filter and Fuel filter...and one "minor" service which is just oil and filter. I've been using a good local indie for the past 2 years, but I'm genuinely thinking this might be quite a good deal. The only downside is you have to pay the entire £399 upfront...which is a bit of a pill to swallow when I moved house just two weeks ago.

Get a quote from your indie then, and see what they come to. I'd guess about the same or less. Audi (according to the owners area of the website) are price matching on written quotes (from other garages within 15 miles, and using Audi parts) - so you could get them to do the work for the same price as the indie of you wanted - but as you've gone outside the dealer network for servicing already why bother with an Audi stamp?

Thanks for that, ahh I had no idea that Audi were doing the price match! Thats pretty cool. I've never been fussed about main dealer stamps - when I sell my cars I tend to sell them to a local trader who gives me a good price based on the glasses guide (after a bit of negotiation). He has never once cared about main dealer service history, as long as the service history is intact and has been done properly! I tend to shop around for servicing. e.g. This year I had my indie do the oil/oil filter/air filter, but main dealer had air con service, brake fluid and MOT on offer so did them there instead.
