    Hi guys,
One of my hid bulbs "had enough" today and packed in.
I phoned Audi and was quoted £160.00 for one bulb, after filling my nappy I phoned Eurocarparts and was quoted £120.00 for one bulb, after being given the spec of the bulb I checked eBay and I can get 2 bulbs for under £50.00!
I phoned a couple of suppliers and was told that their bulbs where descent dealers where simply taking the P.
I have opted to try the £50.00 bulbs but wonder what anyone else's experiences have been?
    Cheers

Is the light output a good quality?

    M11tchy,
I am told the bulbs output is the same as standard (4300k)
I was offered an "upgrade" bulb but I want the car to maintain the standard look. That being said...the fault didn't show all day today.
If the fault re-occurs I will replace both bulbs and report any findings as IMO £160 for a bulb is very excessive!

Ah well that's good news, at least you havnt gone for the modern trend of 'blue' or 'purple' headlight! I agree £160 is insane but did that include fitting? It was a good 3 hour job on my last car.
