I have an Autumn Brown 2014 B7 Passat estate.

I have already got one chip, on the rear bumper, which I am going to touch in, but wondered if any one knew where I could get hold of a clear/transparent bumper protector to try and stop any more happening.
All the ones on E-bay etc are either Silver, Black or Stainless/steel-none of which would look right

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
but when I put in my Estate details it said it wouldn't fit.
Have you fitted it to an estate or a saloon?

Yes I did see this, but on the VW web site it says dealer fit and quotes a 50 min fitting time??
Have you self fitted? and was it to an Estate?

    Any issues with fitting?
    Thanks for you help

Sorry - copied the wrong link. This one doesn't specifically say Estate, but the photo looks like one .

Don't have one but going to get the equivalent for my Golf when I can be bothered to go to VW.
It's retailer fit - so any fitting issues are their problem.

I bought and fitted one of these Volkswagen Rear Bumper Protection - Transparent - 3AF061197A

I fitted it myself. You just need to take your time, follow the instructions and ensure it's all lined up where it should be and and work in a clean area so that nothing get trapped between the film and the bumper and you should be ok.

It comes with a solution that you mix up to allow you to slide the film around until it's in the correct place rather than a "one go and it's stuck" adhesive.

I like the idea of that. I have a "Hatchbag" boot liner with a fold down flap to protect the bumper, but with wet dogs jumping in it retains moisture when folded back within the car, so I have detached I for the time being. I have noticed some surface scratches starting to appear on the bumper though.

Rob be careful, I ordered a B7 estate protector which I fitted but it's not a perfect fit for the alltrack. The guy I bought it from has since done one for the alltrack, let me know if you are interested and I will sort out his details. Even though it's not perfect it's still good and has stopped a lot of knocks from skis and bikes.
