Please can anyone help? I am replacing my 1999 VW Microbus Exclusiv's timing belt (at 68 000 km) not for the distance travelled, but age: nearly 15 years with the same timing belt. It still looks visually fine, but I think 15 years is the rubber limit.
Can anyone tell me how to remove the V-belt pulley on the crankshaft? I have removed the 4 allen key bolts, so do I need to remove the big bolt in the middle as well?
