    Default Fuel Filler Flap - Actuator Failure – 20-06-2014,09:00 PM
    Audi A6 2.7tdi 2009

    The central locking on the my fuel filler flap stopped working (locked). I've pulled the emergency red cord so I can fuel the car but I would like to change the solenoid/actuator.

    I've found what seems to be a similar thread on the A4 forum but it somehow looks different and doesn't refer to the actuator in the boot.

    Before I embark on a round of destruction has anyone changed it and if so have they got a step by step guide? I'm particualrly interested in how the actuator and wiring are removed and how the actuator is fixed to the car body.

    PM me your email address and I will send you the instructions.

    Start with a fault scan to make sure it's the actuator at fault and if it is, buy a new part from Audi.

    I think the part no may be 4E0862150.

    Could be wrong though!
    XK8 96 Dyno'd at 305 and LPG converted, a mere 65ppl
