I had the same on my Bora, check the springs, might be rusty or even snapped! Does it still make the niose when you take it out in the rain? I sprayed mine with WD40 and has stopped creaking noise for now.

Could be 3 things here. Very common faults all of them and i have had them all.

    1. Anti roll bar bushes have worn, so it creaks as you go over bumps.
Try opening the bonnet, grabbing the front of your car and pull the car up and push it down, this duplicates the noise. Going over speed bumps makes the biggest noise.

    2. Centre exhust mount has broken. Go to Kwik Fit and have it welded, had mine done £15.
Noise Appears at low revs on mine.

    3. Radiator mounts have broken, this was most noticable on closing the door or boot, But more like a squeeky sound.
You can check this by, grabbing the radiator and shaking it, see if you can duplicate the noise.

Bet you its one of them, nothing major.
    Just another B7 Estate
