Upgrade 2008 3.2 TT to TTS LED DRL Adaptive Headlights, Problem

I up graded my 2008 audi tt3.2 roadster,
FROM: adaptive xenon lights with "normal" drl
TO: tts LED drl adaptive lights.

I seem to have lost the adaptive feature.

Now:
- lights mostly work, drl, turn signals, headlights, high beams ALL OK
- no adaptive function on headlights
- dashboard warning: dynamic headlight range control defective
- (vagcom finds) (55)xenon range, fault 02071, no signal communication
I coded as per audi (german) tech bulletin.

Any Ideas?
Is there a wire loom change needed?
(was told it was plug, recode, and play)

Here's more information about my headlight problem.
Again the light mostly work EXCEPT for afs (adaption).

When I try to code (55)Xenon Range I get:

coding rejected error 22:conditions not correct or request sequence error

This is using a correct (non zero wcs) and password. It's
already coded from before to the correct value (25).
But it is curious that I can't change it.
Here is the vcds log of (55)Xenon Range.

It shows NOSUBSYSTEM for the afs units!
The headlight assemblies are supposed to be AFS: 8J0 941 003/004 AJ
I opened one and it has the afs motor in it.

I'm suspecting a wiring problem?
Could the adaption cause this?

I had Xenon AFS before the upgrade and I'm using the same
underdash controller.
