I have a 2002 Audi A3 1.9TDI Sport blah blah blah none of that is important. I do however have a problem with the alarm which is looking to be very typical fault with era audi. When I got the car, I tested the alarm as I always do, sat inside it, made sure the motion where turned on by the button on the b pillar and locked the car and waved my arm, but nothing, not even indicators. Also to note, the little red LED next to the pin thing which goes up and down depending on if the car is locked or not is not flashing at all, but glows for a couple of seconds when I activate the motion sensors.

The alarm module was replaced under warrantee as liquid (possibly from he batteries) had go inside and fried itself. This as replaced but it still doesn't work. Could it be a problem with the motion sensors themselves ?

When you say the button by the B pillar. I thought you pressed that button before arming the alarm to turn off the interior sensors (so you can leave the dog in the car).
