    Afternoon All,

I'm considering changing the interior trim of my new a6 black edition for the brushed aluminium one that comes as standard in the S Line. I'd possibly just change the trim on the doors and leave the central trim in gloss black. Is anybody able to retrieve part numbers for those particular parts so I can get pricing from Audi? The car in question is a 16 plate saloon.

    Thanks.

Is it not part of the whole door card?
you need to remember that the trim from the door lines up with the trim at the top of the dash so to make it look consistent you need to change that bit as well otherwise you will have a silver trim leading to the piano black trim. I'm not talking about the bit above the glovebox the trim looks like a lip at the top of the windscreen.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I had a look at the trim inside a black edition a few weeks ago at a local audi dealer, I too was concerned by the trim around the windscreen / dashboard. It looked to me like the trim was a silver effect anyway, even on the black edition. I'd have to see an S line in comparison I suppose

Personally I'd get the trim wrapped with a brush stainless affect if you prefer the stainless look. Cheaper, plus the black edition values wouldn't be affected, as you can peel the wrap back off!
