Install Google Chrome - gets you easy translation from German to English (unless you speak German of course)
Go to google.de and search on Audi A6 C7 Winterräder Wintersatz

Looking right now I see wheels listed at anything from 1000 euros to well over 2000 for fancy rims (S6 I think) and in a variety of sizes...

Because Germany REQUIRES winter tyres in some 'states' during winter there are LOADS of genuine audi winter wheels and tyres for sale with barely used tyres... I guess from ex-rental cars or whatever.

The company I bought from (for my allroad) - supreme.de - had half a dozen sets of nearly new ones on offer with varying levels of tread on the tyres, from 8mm (new) down to 6mm, I bought a set of wheels fitted with standard equipment Dunlop 3D winter tyres.
In my case, wheels and tires were listed with a "Buy it now" of 1399 Euros or "Best offer" - I offered 1240 euros and it was instantly accepted. So 1300 Euros with the 60 Euro shipping to UK. So just over £1130 after Paypal applied a somewhat 'enthusiastic' exchange rate. At this time of year you could probably be a bit cheekier with your offer.
You get genuine Audi OEM equipment - so no need to even think about telling your insurance company, and no worried about offsets, spacers etc.

I bought 18" as these are standard equipment for the allroad (same as stock wheels)... they are identical to the stock wheels (although they also do a slightly fancier split spoke design which looks great but would be a pain to clean). The only difference is that instead of being 8" wide the wheels are 7.5" to allow a bit of space to accommodate snow chains (should you need to fit them) and avoid fouling inside the wheel arches. The tyres are actually the same width, just the rims are a bit narrower.
A6 allroad BiTdi (MY14, July 2013 - DAB & power tailgate). Glacier white, tech pack (HDD Nav, colour DIS, Parking Plus), sports seats, 4 zone climate, heated seats front and rear, ambient lighting, 75L fuel tank, adaptive Bi Xenon headlights
