    hello to all.

i'm facing more problems with my 2.0 blb engine.... after all the money i spent rebidding the engine and changing the oil pump, now it takes more than 30-40 seconds to start and after the start, if i shut down the engine just after..... it will start right away...

i'm afraid to damage the starter, but...

When i turn the key on the car the glow plug resistance light is only shown near 2 seconds and goes off. - outside temperature between 24-25șC..

my ideas about possible component failure:

    1- n75 valve not working??
2- g62 - coolant temperature sensor affecting the time of the glow plugs??
    3- injector's problems????

    Any ideas???

on vcds no dtc is shown... on engine module.

this engine was rebuilded because i've suffered a major accident, and n75 valve was totally damaged, and the coolant plastic housing (- g62 sensor) was severely damage also...

The repair guy, replaced only the plastic housing of the (g62 sensor is the same)...
The original n75 that is broken has the sn 8E0906627c and the guy installed one with the code 8E0906627a...

    maybe this??

So he's installed an older part than previously fitted.

Get a new one from Audi by your vin number.

Could be. Not saying it is but don't ever use older revisions of parts that were fitted before.

without coolant sensor is the same thing!

The glow plug light is on only for max 2 seconds and the engine takes like i said on first post more than 30-40 seconds.... to start

could be that it's taking time to build fuel pressure.......fuel pump/tandem pump...injector seals?
