    Default Rnse cleaning disc for laser – 13-05-2014,08:51 PM
    Looking for a suitable cleaning disc to help clean the laser as it's started to not read the sat nav discs, Can anyone recommend one they have had joy with as I've read some of these cd's require software to be installed which wouldn't be suitable for the rnse. Cheers

    What you're better doing imo is opening the top of the rnse and cleaning the laser with a bud.

    There are a few threads on this.

    Have people had better outcomes with this? I seen a few people do it that way, but am worried about putting liquid straight on the laser itself as some have said. Also would the buds leave anything behind on the laser, or is it a specific type?

    Stripped down the rnse unit cleaned the lense several times with meth and dried. I then ran a lense cleaning cd for around 30mims.

    It now works better than ever, so very happy with the results.
