It seems that the lowest ride height (dynamic or efficiency drive select options) still shows 2 of the 5 suspension strut bars lit up.

Does anyone know if the ride height drops further above 120kph or can a lower/lowest level be selected at speeds below this like on the C6 allroad?

If the option is there I've yet to find it despite a re-read of the manual.

My allroad will go down to 1 bar if you stick it in dynamic I think...certainly at motorway speeds 'cos quite often I flip from Individual (which has suspension set to Auto) to Comfort on long motorway cruises and you see it start jacking up from 1 to 2.

    PAUSE..
OK I was intrigued so i just went outside and started mine up and stuck drive select in dynamic. It dropped from 2 to 1 without moving off.

Thanks Groucho. I'll get it checked and keep a lookout to see if it drops to Level 1 on the motorway in the meantime.

VCDS did come up with an error, but I'm loathe to clear the fault in case that doesn't rectify it and the issue remains without the clues. I just wonder if it has anything to do with my winter wheel change before the "wheel change" option appeared in the MMI.

Doubtful.. I did the same thing (DOH!) and made sure I switched on the wheel change option in the MMI when I switched back a month or so ago.

Wheel change option, is that unique to the Allroad and/or air suspension? I looked but didn't find anything, so all I did was reset the tyre pressure measurement to avoid alerts.

Yes wheel change thing is an air suspension option - so allroads plus those that opt in.

write the code down and then clear it and see what happens.

Looks good. My C5 was Highland Green too.

Not sure it would get up my "drive" that low. Perversely it is normally max clearance I look for even if it means oversized tyres to give a few more mm. Have to say that this year's snow was a bit disappointing compared to last year's.

Met with Splash earlier today for a quick "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" session.

Here is my BiTdi in dynamic (left), so suspension on setting 1, and Splash's 245 on the right ... can't remember if this was in "allroad" mode (setting 3) or setting 2.
Bottom line was that Splash could not get his car to drop to setting 1 so more follow up with the Audi dealer.

Someone with a 245... please confirm that your car drops to setting 1 in dynamic mode (I can't believe that it does not).
