Hi folks new member here and dont know if i am in the right catergory for this, but a week ago while driving home my glowplug light started flashing on my dash on my audi a4 tdi {b8}model.having bought my ross-tec cable from ross tec and with the vcds software scanned the car and this fault showed up.. 9124 - Throttle Actuator Control System
    P2111 00 [232] - Stuck Open
MIL ON - Intermittent - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 00000001
    Fault Priority: 2
    Fault Frequency: 4
    Mileage: 127033 km
    Date: 2014.04.24
    Time: 18:59:27
I have spent the morning taking off the throttle body and thoroughly cleaning it. It was fairly dirty and sooted up. Once clean and put back together I took the car a run hoping this would solve the problem but got half a mile along the road and fault light showed up again. Done rescan and same fault showing. Do I need a new throttle body or is there any thing else I could try. Would be really grateful for and suggestions.thanks..

    Clear the faulr and rescan.
The date shows as an old fault.
Can't find that fault code on the rosstech wiki.

Always search on here for your fault code - Fault code help

Going by the OP of that thread, the throttle body needs cleaned.
