I have a full genuine version of VAGCOM (403 I think) which I use for my Passat (2003) I am picking up a Audi A6 (2.7tdi 2007) on Thursday, which version do I need to connect to the Audi?
Can I get a discount off a new version by "trading in" my old version?

Just wanted to point out that while Chris pointed to the correct device, it's name is HEX-USB+CAN and the +CAN is the most important part of what you need for the '07 A6 (C6 platform)

Can I get a trade in discount from the software I have? I would obviously need to buy a new "connector"

If you purchased a full license from Ross-Tech, making you a registered user, and you remain in good standing with us, then yes, you can do what we call an Outright Upgrade. However, our distributors do not handle these. You will have to work direct with Ross-Tech.

In our Outright Upgrade program, we discount the retail price of a new system by the $99 paid for a license of the older product. The prices shown on the Outright Upgrade page are already discounted.

Remember, shipping is substantial as is the duties and taxes to bring the product into the UK. All in, you may be at the same price as the price offered by our distribs.
