2008 A5 DVD Navigation

Hi folks,
Is their anywhere to buy updated navigation discs other than buying from Audi? I am looking to update my navigation system.
Do I need to update the software too or is that done via a new dvd?
Any help advice greatly appreciated.

Take a pic of your nav screen (showing the map, not your exact location obv) and I can tell by that.

Looks like 2G, could you just confirm by pressing CAR then SETUP then SETTINGS, then version information and read off the first and second line?

Version 4690, definitely 2G.

If you're experiencing any mmi problems then you can upgrade to FW 5570, although this isn't necessary.

Lots of discs on ebay, how recent maps do you need?
