Audi Q7 bluetooth

Hi, I'm looking for someone to confirm for me if the bluetooth module for an Audi Q7 with MMI 2G. I believe it's under the front right hand seat.

Will look into getting the seat out over the next couple of days to fit the bluetooth module.

You wouldn't also know where the best place to tie in the 12v, ground and k-diagnose is? I have the ami module in the armrest but insure how easy access to the back of it is.

Are you retro fitting this

If so pick your optical and kwire + live and earth from the media player in the dash and fit the unit behind the glovebox

Yeah going to attempt a retro fit of this. Wasn't sure if there was room for it there in the Q7. It certainly seems like a easier place to get to than removing the front seat.

That's my bt module now fitted, took most of the afternoon cause I had trouble getting the CD changer out connect the power & k-line to. For most of the install I loosely followed A6-Chris's detailed write up for the install he did. I currently have the bt module mounted in the same place as Chris did in the write up but may need to move it slightly cause it seems to be activating the parking brake sensor randomly when either braking or turning. But the main thing is that it's fitted & working.

Would the Bluetooth module be located in the same place on a left hand drive q7? under the drivers seat?

I believe in a left hand drive the battery is under the drivers seat & the bluetooth is under the passengers seat.
