Perfect colour - just had mine delivered to the dealer and collecting next Friday!
The time flies until you get an email about a month before from the dealer saying it is on its way.... That is when it becomes unbearable
1 months feels like 4, the 1 week feels like a month....
Then they tease you at the last minute with photos of the beauty all dressed in sexy protective wrappings, you know the ones, when you buy a new 'thingy' and it comes with protective film that you just need to peel off slowly, knowing you cant is infuriating .

This is very funny and entirely how the last couple of months have gone for me. Picked up my car on Saturday, and it is awesome, but that last month was bl88dy excrutiating - especially if you are as impatient as I was.

Great sounding car Whitter. What is the wait for the manual Ultra? Mine is a manual as well and the Ultra was announced just after I ordered in January but only auto initially available.

Congrats on the order! I too have ordered a manual ultra and 4 weeks on still no build week yet so be good to hear how you get on. My dealer thinks it will be my15 before the manuals start being built so long wait ahead!

I am ordering through Hitachi Capital as that's our lease company for company cars so no delivery date issued. I spoke to my local dealer who was less than helpful as I cannot order from them but they said for the immediate future the manual is not available - its not on their system to order as yet. They suggested Nov is realistic date for manuals based on current lead times and the fact the model is not yet available

Mine car has to go back in September so I am hoping that the lease company offer me the auto at no cost.

Does anyone on here know when they started taking orders for the auto? Seems like it was a early feb announcement with deliveries 8 weeks later. My dealer seems to think that the manual will follow a similar pattern and reckons that basically audi are running down the current manual stock before starting to produce the ultra. Sound credible to anyone?

I originally ordered a ultra manual but for dealer to tell me the longer 6th gear parts were delayed so i changed to the s-tronic. Apparently the gearing needs to be changed for emmisions.
