Thanks John, never thought of those guys, used them before to remove a dent in my Zed.
Do you think even though it is a pierced hole they would still be able to sort?

New bonnet or a patch welded and painted.

No dent people would fill a hole!

What on earth did you hit?

Something sharp, perhaps a forklift fork or some farm machinery?

My money's on him getting charged by a unicorn.

I'd go for a bonnet from the bone yard, but that looks like the blue they made the R32 in, so if that's what it is hopefully the bonnet is the same as the 1.6S. The spray at home fellas don't usually like horizontal panels like bonnets and roofs so even if you can weld and fill it, it would probably be a body shop to spray or else take it off and hang vetically.

Car was home 10 mins after purchasing, my son took it 50 yards to show his mates, found 1st gear instead of reverse and drove into neighbours iron gate

Yeah colour is Laser Blue, can pick a bonnet up from local breaker for £80 but doesn't have this colour so would need a respray. Will take it to body shop and see what they say.

Aaaah, poor lad, we've all been there. Make him pay though, it'll shape him as a man.

I once 'stalled' my mother's new car into the front of a Cadillac. No damage whatsoever to the Caddy, her car wasn't quite so lucky and cost me a month's salary.
