Hot starting issues on TDi 130

It started last night after about a 40 minute drive.

I left the car for about 10 minutes, and when I came back it would fire, the revs would go to about 900rpm, then it would die. It did this 5 or 6 times. I then turned off the radio and a/c, and it started and idled ok.

Drove home and left the car for 3 hours, and it did the same again.

Started fine this morning, and after I'd left it for 5 minutes.

Any ideas?

I would say its a fuel delivery problem. Can you hare the low pressure pump prime up ok?

What does that sound like, and where does the noise come from?

Comes from the tank area and sound like water spraying from a garden hose for about 1 second
