Hi there. I have a 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro Avante. Just today I had the ESP, and ABS lights go on and the speedo sits at 0. This happens after about 10 seconds of driving. The car drives normally except the change down on the auto trans is not as smooth. We have had alot of rain lately - could this be the problem?
Any advice would be great thanks

Hi,it seems like a speed sensor problem as your speedo reads Zero,i would have a look at all the ABS wiring and plugs onto the sensors at each wheel.Could be a broken wire, high resistance in the wiring etc.As you mention,it may have got soaked with the road conditions.Cheers.

G'day thats great advice - I had a feeling that it would be something at the wheel. Thanks very much for taking the time to reply - I will get onto it.
