    Hello everyone,
I hope this is the right section to post in.

I have an Audi A3 8L PD130 and its clutch and flywheel are on the way out
I have future plans for this car which involve big power, around 230bhp perhaps more if my bank balance allows for it

Anyway i will surely require a Solid Mass Flywheel to be able to handle these gains.
However there seems to be many downsides to installing a SMF (chatter, vibrations, gearbox life).

My question is, is there anyone in the Greater Manchester region with a SMF fitted to the PD130 engine?
I would really like to hear the opinions of people who have had this option installed, good and bad.

And perhaps if they are in the region i would love to see the results myself!

PS. My gearbox is already whining and requires a refurb, if anyone can recommend a trusty gearbox specialist that would be fantastic

I may be starting a build thread one day

    Any help is much appreciated

    Thanks
