2001 S3 Intermittent Indicator Issue

Hi.

A few days ago, i was driving my S3 and tuned on the indicator, it started with a normal flash and then a double flash and then went back to normal.

I tried this with both left and right indicators and same problem. All bulbs are working as they should, as are the hazards.

Could this be a Hazard relay issue ? If so, is it easy to fix or should I arrange a mortgage to get it fixed ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds a bit like the A6 indicator relay / hazard switch issue. I think a new hazard switch is about £30, and fairly straightforward to fix. There's a guide on here somewhere.
