    Oh, I have mine set to £0 excess so everythings covered.

    I suggest then getting the specialist to do it and MAKE SURE he uses genuine parts.

    If you do replace g450 you must reset the value in the ecu, you can also regenerate the dpf whilst the vehicle is static using vcds, ensure you have at least a quarter tank of fuel and the bonnet must be shut

    So after a long drive to oxford yday, about 160 miles or so the EML went off this morning when I started the car. This also happened last time. So does that mean the sensor is working correctly but just got clogged up? Or is it faulty? I wouldn't want to take it into audi and they find no fault and will cost me money.

    Exactly that.

    If the EML goes off, the fault is still present and active in the ECU and won't go away until the part(s) replaced.

    It's the same fault as before. So hopefully Audi should change the DPF sensor and let me be with my pride and joy.
