    Default Oil Meet Again – 13-09-2007,08:24 AM
    Don't know howmany times this question has been asked & answerer, but it is a slippery issue (sorry). What oil for Passat PD 1.9 tdi, a parts distributor has just advised me to use 10/40 semi synthetic, as my car is out of warranty. any advice / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Passat 1.9 tdi 2002.

    I use Quantum Semi Synthetic 5w-40 VW 505.01/505.00 spec

    This for a Fixed service interval
