    Hi,
over the last couple of weeks, the car has developed a whining noise (sounds like it's coming from the front n/s).
it seems to only be there when actually moving and it changes dependant on speed/revs etc.

It isn't loud but when you are driving down a narrow road you can easily hear it.

No difference in performance or how it runs...

    any ideas?

    Wheel bearing? Tyres?

Is it loud enough to take a video as diagnosing a whining noise over the internet is pretty hard.

It's too quiet to record unfortunately.
i had a puncture the other day so have one wheel which is 245/35/19 and the other side is an 18inch wheel. Just waiting for my new tyres.

Could it be the different tread making the noise?
Does the whine change on "speed" or "revs"?

Why are you running two different rim sizes. You would fail an MOT with those. What size tyre is on the 18" rim. Regards Peter
